Oh man, where do I even begin?! Mikayla and Jordan’s wedding was STUNNING and ran smooth from start to finish! Everywhere you looked there were beautiful details and handmade decor. Everything was accounted for and in its perfect place. They got married at the Back Forty and I am telling you, this venue fit their style perfectly! This wedding is definitely one for the books and filled with so many gorgeous and emotion filled moments! Enjoy!
Oh! Mikayla’s bouquet was stunning!!
Mikayla reading a letter from her soon to be husband and opening his gift to her!
One of my favorite things is when brides get a personalized hanger for their wedding dress! It’s so special!
Mom zipping up her daughters dress!
The brides soon to be mom-in-law joined in to help as well!
And of-course her ever joy-filled bridesmaids as well!
I think we can all agree that Mikalya made a gorgeous bride!
The dresses were all different shades!! It was the most beautiful color pallet!
Wow, don’t these ladies look like models?
Mikayla and Jordan decided to do a first look which always makes me happy because it means I get more time to take photos of them!! Their reactions were precious and I love that these images will forever hold as memories for them for generations to come!
I know this photo is above as well but I just really LOVE his face of anticipation and her excited smile! So precious!
Something really unique about this venue was that it has SO many amazing and different settings to take photos at! We started in the wood and the light was perfect!
The Back Forty also had a pond with Willow trees! I am always excited to take photos with Willow trees! There was crazy wind but my amazing assistant held back some tree branches so that we could get these amazing shots!
One of my favorites!
There were even cornfields right by the pond and willow tress! I suggested going IN the cornfield instead of just taking photos in front of them. I was so glad they were totally down for the adventure because it created such an awesome look! Even though I live in Indiana (land covered in cornfields) this was surprisingly my first time taking photos in or even around them! I am so glad I did because I absolutely love these!
As if this venue didn’t have enough diversity there was also an open field!
After getting most of the photos done before, Mikayla and Jordan were relaxed and ready to finally become husband and wife!! Like I said before, the decor was stunning.
They are married!! Party time!!
Daddy daughter dances are always so precious to watch!
I love when couples decide to do an anniversary dance at their reception because I get to take photos of couples dancing together as they remember all their years of marriage! It truly is a special moment!
Friends and family taking turns dancing with the bride and groom for the dollar dance!
And let the party begin! Grandma and grandpa took over the dance floor with their fancy dance moves! Beginning the party of the right foot!
The parents of the bride, the bride and groom, and parents of the groom. A legacy of love.
