Mariah has been my second shooter for weddings for just a little over a year now and she is seriously such a blessing to me! Not only did we click really well at the beginning and became friends instantly but she also has mad skills behind the camera as well (her business is called Riya Photo)! Since the day she started working for me she has challenged me to see things differently because all photographers have different visions and just capture beauty in different ways! You can put a ton of photographers in one room shooting the same thing and we will all come out with something different! I love that! I always love going through the photos she takes for me during weddings to see what she captured from a completely different angle as me! They are photos I would not be able to give the client had I just been the only one shooting. Two are really better then one and I love having her as my partner on wedding days!

Just this past December she got engaged (super adorable story!) and she has been in full planning mode ever since then for their August wedding! A sneak peek…it’s going to be STUNNING! I joke with her that her wedding is going to be my new go to example wedding to show potential clients because I know how gorgeous it will be! She has so much vision and creativity plus it will be a day filled with so much love and fun memories! I can’t wait!

Getting to shoot their engagement session was extra special and I love getting to capture their personalities into their photos! They love nature, flowers, and doing all things outdoor! We started at Foster Park in downtown Fort Wayne for some photos and then ended with super fun photos around a bonfire! There is even a S’more ring shot!  Enjoy!
