Vic and Ian are very special to Scotty and I for so many reasons!

One reason is because Ian grew up with Scotty and they went to the same school together growing up. It’s neat to see and laugh about how they used to be as kids and what crazy things they did! Ian is one of those lifelong friends that I know Scotty will always have!

Another reason is because Scotty and Ian are a part of the same band (Mike Lee Music). This band is actually what reconnected them after a while of not seeing each other after high school (because sometimes life takes you different places after high school and new jobs, etc). Ian plays the drum and Scotty plays the electric guitar. It is also through this reconnection that I met and got to know Victoria, Ian’s wife. When I met Victoria they were recently engaged and we had both joined along on a trip with the band. Victoria and I had a lot of time to get to know each other and every trip since then I have LOVED having Victoria to hang out with! We are both band wives, sonic sisters (we both have a deep obsession with Sonic and have to go every road trip), and each others company during long car rides and many band practices and shows!

Victoria is also super talented. Like no joke she could be a model and I am calling it now, she is going to be on the Voice one day because her voice is unreal. It’s going to happen!

Shortly after we first met and after a few more trips together with the band I got the great privilege of getting to take their engagement photos last fall and then their wedding this last May! I really enjoyed getting to know a different side of them through getting to be their photographer! I was able to truly get to know their story, who they were as a couple, and also get to witness their deep love for one another! I love that I have been able to capture different aspects of their story for them and I look forward to that in the future as well!

Recently, Vic and Ian went with Scotty and I to pick out our Christmas Tree at Dull’s Tree Farm and while we were there we decided to get some photos of them for their first Christmas as a married couple! Below are a few of my favorites and by now these two are such pros at getting their photos taken so it’s so easy and fun! Enjoy!

Vic is known for randomly sneaking kisses to Ian on the nose and I love it!

It kind of looks like we were on some really cool mountain top but don’t be fooled. We are in Indiana and it is really just a pile of rocks! haha
